主讲人介绍：王明新，现为山西大学特聘教授、博士生导师。王明新教授研究兴趣广泛，研究领域为非线性偏微分方程和生物数学，在国内外重要刊物上发表论文270余篇，在科学出版社和国内外知名出版社出版中英文专著7部，在清华大学出版社出版教材4部，近年来参与编写了“数学大辞典”(王元主编)和中国大百科全书(第三版)。作为第一获奖人，获教育部自然科学二等奖、江苏省科技进步二等奖和教育部科技进步三等奖。曾获河南省青年科技奖、江苏省首届青年科学家奖提名奖和华英文化教育基金奖。先后主持十余个国家自然科学基金项目和多个省部级科研项目。
内容介绍：In this talk, we focus on the local analysis of semi-linear parabolic equations. We first present the local existence and uniqueness for strong and classical solutions by fixed-point theorems. The main emphasis is on the highly effective upper and lower solutions method. This method is detailed for single equations, using both fixed-point and monotone iteration approaches to establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions within an ordered interval. The theory is then generalized to weakly coupled systems, introducing the concept of mixed quasi-monotonicity and coupled upper-lower solutions.
